    4 Corner Scale results for the SVT Vic.

    I hot a hold of some Longacre car scales. So the results are as follows:

    No driver,
    Battery relocated to the trunk,
    3/8 tank of gas,
    17X9 aluminum wheels with 275/40 Sumit. HRT-Z tires,
    NO SPARE,
    NO BUMPER JACK,
    With trailer hitch,

    Total weight: 3758 lbs

    Cross %: 51.4 %
    Left %: 49.89 %
    Front %: 54.5 %
    Rear %: 45.5 %

    WITH ME IN IT

    Total weight: 3923 lbs

        Where you able to fine tune the results? I know I have always wanted a set of those scales but alas....I cant afford it

          Well, they aren't mine, just barowed. Can't tune them without coi -overs or adding wedge and what not.

          My car is essentially full weight.

              is your battery in the engine bay? if so you could move 40#s from the left front to the right rear

                his batt is in the trunk... says in the post...

                You could adjust the wieght with spring spacers....That's pretty good for a near stock car.

                  I assume those weights are pretty good? It'd be cool of several members in the same area could chip in on a set of scales.

                    I just go up the road to the lumber yard to weigh a car.

                    My '79 Continental Town Car weighed 4950lbs empty...

                      Total weight tells you nothing about weight distribution.

                      The set of scales I used would cost about $2500 so it would take quite a few contributors.
