    +1.

I think I'll do regular wagon coils or 817's though. If I'm unhappy I'll play musical springs.

      Another question.

As I was thinking today, I had an important insight. If I was to use longer shocks (F 150) with my springs, couldn't that be dangerous? What I mean is, wouldn't that make it possible for the suspension to drop (going over a bump, or something, and the springs to "fall out"? What holds the springs in place, other than the shocks and weight of the car? Would it indeed be possible for the longer shocks to allow the springs to become unseated?

I still had to pry my springs out at full droop without any shocks on....Should be fine.

same, though I used a jack on one side to lever the axle downward on the side I wanted to pull the spring from. The upper control arms tend to limit the travel once it gets that far. They bind up and the rear just won't go down any more.

Heck, I like the way Glens sits in the rear....I think it sits a bit LOW in the front! If I could get mine that high, front AND rear, I'd be shickled titless!

Thanks, I think the front is a little low. When I do the front springs I'll get it up just a little. The first pic. is after the 819's. It sometimes looks high if I park it down hill, other than that I do like it. When I put the rear springs on I took the wheels off and jacked up one side of the axle to get the other side down so I could get the old springs out and the new ones in. With the wheels off I didn't have to get the whole car so high off the ground. It really was a easy thing to do.
The only thing holding the springs in is the weight of the car and the shocks.
