I got the pony wheels on the Lincoln today with the 1.25" spacers and they look good and make the handling a lot better. I'm just wondering about the integrity of the spacers and how well they stand up to highway speeds and heavy cornering. Do I have to re-torque them? They cost 112.80 shipped for all 4, is that cheap??

I would retorque them after 20 miles or so.
As for integrity, I've autocrossed on mine for 2 years and beat the living crap out of it. Not one issue. About 20K on mine.Builder/Owner of Badass Panther Wagons

Yeah, retorque them a couple times. After the first retorque abuse the hell out of em and make sure they are maintaining their torque. Other than that MRLTD is standing proof they are fine....I personaly just can't deal with it as a concept. Something about it just doesn't sit right with me so I won't use them.

i've been to florida twice and georgia twice on the spacers. no issues........about 25,000 miles
1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

Mine have been on since early 2006, no issues. I torqued the spacer to the hub to 100 ft/lb with a torque wrench, and did the wheels the same. Just make sure you don't over-tighten them, or tighten them unevenly and you're fine.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
