Figured out why my brakes were so touchy

    I want to replace the rotor because I would be getting it inspected soon to throw on the road and I know it wouldn't pass. Otherwise it wouldn't matter.

      What rubber pin are you talking about? I can't recall any rubber pin involved in my brakes.

        look at the first picture again, it shows them clearly. its the rubber bushing the brake caliper bolt goes through. you replace those with metal ones, it elimates caliper distortion and irregular pad wear.

          When you change the rotors, change the hoses, too. A lot of times,the hoses collapse internally, causing the calipers to hang up. Don't get cheap here, as the results could be expensive, if not deadly.
