Rear frame is WEAK. Moves around more and caused the mounts to fail. If you noticed in the diagram, there are braces on the front and rear of the frame. Most panthers do not have that. Towncars do, and the PI's might. I haven't looked at a PI in years.

can you replace the mounts a few at a time, or do you have to take them all loose before you can do any of them?

further proof of the superiority of the Lincoln

I'll see if I can get some detailed pics of Impy body mounts. I have a suspicion that we might be able to use them.

The impy mounts are a bit different. Already looked.

You have to take ALL of at least one side off to replace just one of them. It sucks.

Attachment is what I'd like to do to the frame...

From the looks of it all of the lower parts (on the bolts) are the same. With the exception of the ones without lower bushings. The uppers seem to be designed have the same compressed hieght. Which is a good thing. Makes it easier to use aftermarket ones... I'm guessing that they all have differrent durometers (hardness) to absorb vibrations at different spots on the body. Since I'm kinda past that and just want a stiff frame for handling and keep the car from falling apart again...I'm going with the same durometer at all points with lower bushings at every location.
