Don't quote me, but I think some police units had boxed upper arms. I don't know if this was a box or aero thing but I swear I remember reading this.

I didn't know there was a handling package available as a regular production order.

X2. My body mounts are crapped completely out.

                  Damn interesting stuff.... Great info!

I'll have to measure the wagon arm thickness. It's got wierd dual density bushings.

Scott has a set of brandy new stock replacement lower control arm bushings (actually the uppers use the same bushings as well) sitting up there. I bought them some time ago. I have new uppers on my car, but haven't ever gotten around to installing the lower arm bushings. He's got the micrometer so I'll defer measuring to the person who isn't 100 miles away from them (me)

My 87 allready had the PI lower control arms, but had no rear bar from the factory, nor is it a tow pack car.It has the special bent lips on the arms as well, but I still didn't have to mod anything to install it.The bar slid in from the rear and bolted right up.

That sounds good. Who could make the bushings? What would be the minimum quantity to get some made?

I powder coated the two lower control arms matte black and they are ready for new bushings.

The control arms are approximately 4 lbs. each without the bushings installed.

ES makes bushings... the 92-95 are the same from what we can tell so far. You need the shells from the stock bushings though. It's easy enough to make your own though. WWW.mcmaster.com sells poly cylinders that you can machine to size.

Unfortunately the numbers in the service manual aren't useful at the parts counter. I dont know what those numbers actually are, but they aren't a standard Ford engineering #. I have the body mount illustration but I dont know what good the actual numbers on it are.
