    Lowered? No, slammed.

Well, the title says it all.

Needing custom length shocks for this ride height, but this car has springs that haven't been cut or heated in any way.
But, my '87 is now closer earth. I do plan to update this thread after I figure out how to make it actually steer...

The third picture was just a drive down the road for a picture, I don't enjoy that style, but I thought it was funny.

Are the tops of the front tires sitting on the wheel liner or is there some minuscule amount of clearance. If nothing is touching you probably can turn but at a very small amount. Gotta plan your route! No tight turns.

They look like stock diameter tires on 18 inch wheels. General idea with any wheel size change, keep the tire diameter close to stock and you won't have issues.

Barely steers, my cars that are literally on the ground at ride height have full steering lock, so this will as well when I'm done.

Right now it's a 255/50r17 (27" tire) on a 17x8 with enough spacer to (I forget exact specs) to bring it out to +0 offset.

I still need to find the listings I ordered front and rear springs from.

I plan on a smaller front tire, and spring spacers since it's sitting on the bumpstops in the front right now. This as well as rolling the fenders/trim pieces flat should make the car very drive able again.
I should be able to maintain this ride height, but have an inch or two of suspension travel if I do it right. Plus a little better geometry up there since it's definitely not designed for this

I went like 4 or 5 inches shorter than the popular Speedway springs, and stiffer of course.

I pan to drive this car to the Riverside Chattanooga show in around a month. So it'll get a few more maintenance items and some miles at this height before that.

Once I get it driveable I'll post a parts list and specs.

Ah... yeah, 8 inch wide and tucked won't turn well. Stock 6.5 inch would do much better, but not fill the hole as much.

Hey sorry, it's slow going here. Had the diff explode in my daily (1999 BMW 540i 6 speed), and had to start daily driving my '95 F350, so been dealing with that.

However, I managed to get some spacers for the springs, and got some 235/45r17 tires on the front.
Pictures below is still on bumpstops, and my 3 inch spacers are too tall for my 8 inch springs to sit low enough, I think, so I'm going to try some 1.5 inch rubber spacers when they arrive on Friday.

Once again, I will update with a parts list once I get it sorted out. I'd just hate to list out parts and end up not giving you all an accurate list.

I've got to do front brakes and replace my blown power steering pump before I put miles on it. But that should happen either this weekend or the second weekend of March, hopefully.

Will update after this weekend when I have more time working on ride height.
