I topped it off w regular power steering that I had sitting around, I’ll grab something else. I also have the OEM air system on the car rn but I want to replace the lines along with the compressor, as I think there is a slight leak on the connection between it and the line.

You can do a few power steering fluid changes using a turkey baster. Always remember to work the wheel all the way, in both directions, but don't hold it at the extremes for more than a second or so!

got it. I was planning to siphon it out and refill it. When I topped it off previously I did turn the wheel side to side at max ranges about 3-4 times.
And in relation to the off topic thing I brought up, I forgot I had a spare ACT sensor sitting around so I might swap that out just to see what happens.

True enough, but figured I'd put that out there. Also, MERC V will also work, but is even more spendy.

As usual, you are 100% correct!

If its noisy even with fresh correct juice, the Lucas power steering snot does a pretty good job of shutting them up.
