The long brake line along frame, feeding rear brakes, sprung a leak. The leak is back by lr tire. After inspecting entire line there is some serious corrosion all the way up to about the firewall. I searched this forum and got a little info but Id like to be specific on whats my best option. Is the only way to fix it by buying the line and bending it yourself? I figure I should replace entire line. From what I read it will probably be 2 lines. Does someone sell a kit? I geuss I should mention Its My 91 CV

I would buy it in 3 pieces and get couplers to join them. Trying to bend and test fit the whole thing in one would drive me mad. I dont know how scott does it!
The front and rear of the line have the funny bends - from the proportioning valve down to the front end of the frame rail could be one piece, coupled to one long piece with just a few bends in the middle, then a medium sized line from the rear frame rail and up over the axle.
Its a tight bend up there at the proportioning valve and you have to sneak it between the frame and body but its doable.Pete ::::>>> resident LED addict and CFI defector LED bulb replacements

You can do it by hand but you run the risk of kinking the line. You can either use something like a spray can to bend around, or go buy a cheap bender.http://secondhandracing.com/Home.aspx

yeah that 1st bend out of the prop valve is really short and tight. you can get a cheap bender for a few bucks.Pete ::::>>> resident LED addict and CFI defector LED bulb replacements
