    Two door quarter window trim

Anyone know where I can buy the clips that hold the quarter window trim to the car?

Also need some tips on getting the trim to clip back onto the car.

The clips have a tang that wrap between the body and the window. The window needs to come out to reinstall correctly.

This is the mercury two door version trim but the clips function in the same way.

You see the large tang that sticks out? That is the piece that you manually bend around the window frame to fit it in place. The window is then bolted in place and sandwiches it in there.

The interior quarter panel trim needs to be removed in order to access removal and re installation of the quarter window.

I do not know where to get clips.

Yep. The window is remove from the inside.

t has a number of metal brackets that are bolted into the the car all from the inside that retain the window against the metal frame. Butyl tape also helps seal the elements out. I will search my RR thread for a picture to show you. and post it up if i find one.

I used this stuff for my Mustang, but I'm not sure if that's what you need or not. It's a butyl and doesnt harden.
