Power steering leak???

Hi guys, finally time to ask the experts. The pittman shaft on my 87 merc is leaking ps fluid from the lower seal out of the steering box. I know a couple of you guys have rebuilt these things...how difficult is it? I'm tired of leaving spots/puddles everywhere I go.

Do I have to remove the box, or can I just pull the two bolts on top and remove the pittman arm, tap the shaft up and replace the seals from there?

Alright, then...no answers...How about a parts list for newer panther steering boxes. Any diff. in the pittman arms if I get a new used one from a yard, or what year should I look for? I just want to have all the parts b4 I pull anything off. Any help would be nice. future mods include brake swap, but not yet. Already have the upper control arms, and I know about the knuckles and stuff, just need info on the steering linkage. Again, thanks.
