    Exhaust question

Seeing as how the tails for a '94-'96 Impy SS will fit a panther, would the h-pipe fit as well? I see that flowmaster has an entire kit in 2.25" tubing for the car.

I think it will work, you would have to have the pipes from the manifolds/headers made to join up with the impy setup, and hangars would have to be made for the mufflers.

I was the one to test the tails, and should have bought complete impala kit. It would have been less expensive than how I made my exhaust.

Is the Impala front or rear wheel drive?

The kits out there are for the 94-96 Impalas. Back when they were RWD.

Hm, $770 isn't cheap so I wouldn't want to waste it, but if I do buy a complete exhaust, what size should I go for, 2.25" or 2.5"?

I've heard only 2" exhausts will fit on these cars, if your using the stock cats. I still want to find a dual exhaust for my car. I don't know how much longer my car will last, so I want to find one at a you-wrench-it(or you-pull-it, whatever you call it) for $50. Then i'll get some cheapie summit turbos. Is the stock h-pipe 2"?

Dont look for a pre-made set of duals, your better off going to a local exhaust shop and asking them how much it would be. You get the pipe size you want and the mufflers you want, and for me its been cheaper than a pre-made kit everytime.

I went with a custom exhuast...the big problem shops have is with the tails...get the impy tails and get the rest custom bent.

                      I thought Mustang H-pipes were 2.25" diameter?

Talking about a mustang H pipe setup or what? You could get a 2.5" catback made for the stock cats....

Possibly Mustang, or any 2.5" h-pipe that fits on a box. How much would it cost to have on built? What about the same with an x-pipe? Or would it be easier and cheaper the find an old cop car in a yard and take the exhaust from it?
