Mobil 1 Oil Filter: 1st impressions

So Im at Pepboys pricing atf (trannys on its way, yay) and getting some (love how certain stores carry only certain brands, pita) of the stuff I need for a tuneup and anywho ended up buying a Mobil 1 oil filter. Really cause I opened the box up in the store and: it is heavy and just weighed more than other brands filters, seemed like it was VERY well made when I looked inside the filter, finally the outer casing is Burly like it could stop a round from a .45 (partly why the thing weighs so much I guess) and is overall very pretty to look at (light blue and sparkly). Better than Motorcraft? Hard to say. Better than everything else, more than likely.

My previous Mobil 1 oil filters were all green & grey, the current one is black & silver, it's the same par # though, according to the guy at Advance the color scheme got changed for whatever reason. Never seen a blue & sparkly filter, but then they might have changed colors again.

It's black (confused it w/ the Purolator that I looked at, was quite hungover).
