Hook an interior light bulb in series with either the positive or negative. Unplug the hood light. Start removing fuses till the bulb goes out. If none of the fuses do it, start disconnecting things off the starter relay, then find out what the wire you disconnected operates. Something else you might want to look at, Fords have a bad ignition switch design. Change the ignition switch. Also, the alternators aren't so hot, and its possible for the diodes to fail internally. Unplug the alternator and see if the draw stops too. Just make sure that you don't have interior lights on, etc while doing the light bulb method, as any current draw will make it glow.

Ok, i think i got this fig. out, so what i can do is get like a test light and hook it up to the negative termanel. And if the lightson go an pull fuses untill it turns off that is whille the key is off.

        Is this right?

        Thanks,
        Dark

: Edit : Eh, never mind that didnt do squat (HAHA) i did find a wire that was hot it was a blue wire comeing from under neath the dash and it ran all the way to the trunk. i brought all of it back to the dash sniped the end of it that was bare to my eye. and put the tape around it. : End Edit :

Check and see if one of the bolts in front of the battery isnt sticking through one of the cells.

On the Battery termanel yes, it actualy got hot. to touch one time it would prob have left a burn mark if i woulda kept my hand on it any longer. :-/

So far though no prob's since i put the new volt reg on
