I have driven 100 miles to look at a smog 302 with a 4V intake on it. Since then, I have learned to ask more and drive less.

If not, its not a boss. I highly doubt it is.

There is no 2V carb intake for a Boss 302, so it would take an adapter plate to get a CFI bolted on. The easiest .002 second way to check for Cleveland heads is to look at the exhaust manifold bolts. If you have small manifolds with inline bolts, it isn't a Boss/Cleveland head. If the bolts are staggered at an angle and not inline, you have canted valve heads. The exhaust manifold passages are huge compared to a 302/351W manifold.
There was NO factory car with a Boss 302 motor after 1970. Not even a Super Duper Special Interceptor .

We've had this disscussion on CVN before, and he insists it's a Boss with 8-bolt valve covers.
Could be I guess.
Heh, CFI and a Boss... doesn't seem like an ideal combo...
And weren't all '85 PI's 351W VV? A conversion to CFI along with a Boss...1990 Country Squire - under restoration
