    TMoss Porting...

Anyone ever heard of this guy? Tom Moss?
    I guess he's a guy that ports upper/lower intakes for 5.0's.
I posted my question about my upper intake on allfordmustangs.com and someone gave me a link to his page.
Anyone know anything about this site?

He's very famous over on Corral.net- I was going to buy a custom camshaft from him a while back, but refrained until more modifications are done (cam will be last). Seems to really know his shit and the guys at Corral couldn't back him up more.

Plus, his prices are very reasonable for most things.

1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...
1979 Bronco Custom, 351M/C6/NP205, 4" lift, 35s, lots of fender trimming.

It looks like he only does Mustang upper/lower intakes. What about a LOPO intake? Would it even be worth it to port a stock intake, or would it be better to buy a GT40 upper/lower and sent it to him to port?

88Vic- do the Explorers... but I don't know how they'd handle on a lopo.
A stock Mustang upper will go well on your lower. Don't waste your time porting that- just wait until the money's available and do a GT40 swap.

well, he wants about $120 to port it...not bad...I'll consider it later down the road after I have my GT40 heads on with the HO cam.

that's not a bad price........that intake will prob flow more than a stock exploder upper........what does he want to port the lower? that is also a big restriction.......the lower on my car is hand ported, seems to work well

Tom Moss is a stand up guy. He did my lower intake. It's worth the money.
