    Partly true. Cats when new are fine. The worst part of these cars exhasut is the exhaust pipes after the cats and the mufflers. A 2.25" exhaust after the cats would be a huge improvement. I noticed a huge difference on my stock single exhaust by just installing a better muffler.

      Did the better muffler sound better? By that I mean deeper.

          Humm, One time when i was looking up a blue book value of a 85 crown vic i saw that there was a sp. edition two door that had a better cfi in it. but only about 200 0r 500 where made. Something like that.

          ( Just my 2Cents )And i say that the 302 boss will blow a 302 ho away. :-> So boss = teh win :->

            heh, last time i had access to a g-tech meter my car was makin 175 hp, so i guess my mods have made somethin, lol, torque wise itll tug anything, so i know that got bumped some too, its still sucky, id be hapy with like 225 hp or more, so where can i get me this crazy power cfi from?
