Actually, looks are the expensive part... but you probably never thought about restoring the interior in your car, let alone anything past wheels. Never seen any topics on the interior of your car...or is it just a race only thing? No luxury left?

My 2-door is fast enough right now, I have 3.73's sitting on the work bench for a little added perk. It'll blow the doors off your 408 that's still in 'progress'.

        Talk it up!

Give the kid a break guys... Don't you remember what it was like being young with a bunch of crazy ass ideas in your head, and confusion? Hell, i still got that
Yup. I always bit my tounge and enjoyed seeing others mod their cars to something different. I never really posted my wishlist or the hypothetical projects, but when I had the chance to do one of my own, I didn't hesitate.

which part...his tudor being "fast enough", "3.73's on the workbench" where they accellerate so much faster, or him blowing the doors off a 408

I don't advertise interior work because i really dont care what people think of my. They dont see my car rolling down the road and wonder if my interior is a rats nest, if my seats are comfy, or how many rolls of duct tape i have on my door panels. Sure its not show quality, but it doesnt look like a cats been let loose in it either. I have more important things to attend to (i.e. a new motor needed) before im going to put $$ into an interior that doesnt make the car go, turn, or stop. I could have gone with stock replacement on many things , but id rather not waste the money if im going to want to upgrade it. I'm doing it right the first time with overkill to stave off future replacement.

btw, if you ever build a 408 race motor its not going to be a quick or cheap endeavour

I bet that my linc as shitty as it runs now, could still run whatever you got "sitting on your bench". Bring it on down to FL

There still is hood clearance issues with a GT40/boat lower and a GT40. There was a towncar years ago that had an EFI 351 with GT40 upper/lower. He had to mod the hood to get the needed clearance. Did a great job though. Looked incredible.
