Auto Headlight Adjustment

Hi All,

I would like my 91 GM's auto lights to come on a bit sooner.

I've done searches that say there's an adjustment "screw" next to the "photo eye" sensor.

On my car, this photo eye is in the middle of the dash, next to the windshield.

Has anyone done this?

Will taking out that long narrow "spacer" between the windshield and defroster outlets be good enough?

Dunno, I was planning on just putting some tint over the sensor...

Never knew you could adjust the thing. I never use it anyway.
