I just received some 19lb fuel injectors for my HO conversion from an EBAY auction I won. They are filthy. Can you soak them in something or what is the best way to clean before I install? How about checking for function since I really have no idea of their history except what they came out of. P.S. Thanks to all for answering all my other questions. Youve been a great help.

I think you can just soak 'em in carb cleaner...there are places that will clean and test them for not too much $$ too....I had a friend of a friend that did the cleaning on my 35 lb'ers years ago..Builder/Owner of Badass Panther Wagons

Yes. I'd recommend bringing them to a well-known shop in your area to have them cleaned and tested. It's the only truly reliable way to do it.2011 Mustang GT Premium, MT82, Kona/Saddle, HIDs, 3.73s, 19s, hood/side stripes, UPR 1.5" springs with adjustable panhard bar, and UMI solid LCAs and relocation brackets.
1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...
1979 Bronco Custom, 351M/C6/NP205, 4" lift, 35s, lots of fender trimming.
