    Speaking of Fuel type questions...

One of the things I did on Vicy tonite was prepped the intake for removale. That included disconnecting the fuel lines from the CFI unit. Now, I'm much more familiar with how new stuff is than older stuff. Well, the first thing I did was I popped the cover off of the schrader valve to relieve the residual fuel pressure, because on new stuff, the fuel system stays pressurized even after Key Off.

Well, nothing came out when I pressed in the valve core. At first, I thought, hrm, maybe the valve's broken. But when I cracked the drivers side fuel line, no fuel came out. When I cracked the pass side, it trickled out for about 3-5 seconds then stopped.

My question is: Is that normal operation for this system? Or do I have a leak somewhere (like say, internal in the fuel pump)?

The fuel system is gonna lose pressure eventually if it sits, so it's okay.

What they said. If its been sitting for months thats why it has no pressure.
