    free is good

my dad being the awesome guy he is managed to find someone willing to give me a 302 block crank heads and rods for free! im estatic to say the least. i already have the heads and rods, ill have to pick up the block and crank later this week, and all though they're in freebie condition, free is good. so this means the TT-TC may be hitting the streets by the end of the summer if all goes well.

I wouldn't recommend TT on a stock block... you could do just as well with a single turbo and put the block close to its limits without risking blowing it into a million pieces.
2011 Mustang GT Premium, MT82, Kona/Saddle, HIDs, 3.73s, 19s, hood/side stripes, UPR 1.5" springs with adjustable panhard bar, and UMI solid LCAs and relocation brackets.
1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...
1979 Bronco Custom, 351M/C6/NP205, 4" lift, 35s, lots of fender trimming.

the turbos im using are pretty small(they're from ford 2.4Ls [i.e. turbo coupe]), i figure forged internals should be plenty strong enough. two small turbos will spool more efficiently and should be easier to plumb in this application

assuming it is a 87+ mustang block, it has forged pistons. They are relitivly strong motors. a local guy has a stock motor with a turbo on it, car runs 10s

2.4L? Ford? Nope. Ford 2.3L turbo. Those turbos are plenty to split a stock 5.0L block in half. Especially if they are the .63 hot side....

i picked them up yesterday, they're in better condition than i expected. he decided to give me a c-6 trans, but he couldnt find the crankshaft. either way its still sweet. i also sold some old wheels i had to this guy that was dumb enough to buy them, so i have some money to start buying parts. construction should be coming soon!:thefinge:
im always getting the mitsubishi 2.4 & ford 2.3 confused, i meant the 2.3.
and motor wont be stock, the block i got is just that an empty block, im filling it with aftermarket components that will be able to handle it.

Then the block will be the weak point. They like to split in half with 500 or so HP at the flywheel....I've been wanting to turbo a panther for awhile. I had a nice holset, the IC, piping, the fuel system, and a built 306 with TFS heads...Sold it all to pay for a friggin honda.
