        Without changing anything else, you won't pick up all that much power from a carb swap alone. I can't give you exact figures but to make any decent power, you'd at least need to put on dual exhaust.

              i think i have problem when i put the new exhsuat i forgot to putm y egr sensor back in will it hurt if i do the carburtated conversion with a new intake with out egr

                No, the EGR becomes useless with a carb conversion. When you put the new exhaust in, you reinstalled the O2 sensor, right?

                  my 83 didnt have an O2 all it had was a egr sensor in the manifold

                    If you had CFI I'm pretty sure you had a O2 sensor in your stock exhaust manifolds. If you have no 02 sensor you are running xtremely rich.
