    Unless you are running really high spring seat pressures go aluminum. they are lighter and a bit easier on your valvetrain at high rpms. The steel are for high-rpm motors with really stiff valve springs.

      aluminum will lighten the valvetrain weight and it will spin up a bit faster than steel (probably not too noticeable, but the advantage is there none the less)
