I think I might be in trouble

Well after I got my lights fixed I looked under the hood and was cleaning a few things up. I popped off the breather and all this white greasy goo was covering the inside. Is this what you guys describe as a Milkshake? It looks like white lithium grease. I think I now might have an internal coolant leak. My vacuum gauge doesnt show that there would be one but I am not sure. I remember seeing a little condesation on my dipstick, But I wasnt too concerned. I put in seafoam as it is supposed to "dry" oil. I drained the oil not to long ago after running it and I didnt have any of that milkshake in it. I just had my valvecovers off and everything looked very good. Is this what I think it is?

May have an exploded head gasket. When I blew one on the capri it just knocked out a 1 inch chunk between 2 cylinders.

I think its because its so damn cold out that water is condesing on the breather.

Keep an eye on the coolant level. If it starts dropping, be concerned. You'd also do well to stand behind the car and see if it smells sweet. If it does, thats usually head gasket. Compression test will say for sure, but its possible its just condensation. If the oil itself isn't milky, and you just have a little white crap on the underside of the oil cap I wouldn't go to panic mode just yet. I popped the dipstick on my Townie last night and it was rusted at the top from condensation. Its also been sitting for a while and hasn't had a proper run in probably a month.

I think I might just do the leak down test to be sure

              :edit: Compression test

water condensation under the valvecovers will cause it. Happened to me.

If your coolant is not dropping, and the car still runs properly, it's just condensation. The dipstick on the '90 every couple weeks would look like a vanilla shake, but the coolant never dropped and the car ran smooth as butter. The tranny though, uh nevermind....
