The only welds on mine are the ones holding the glasspacks to the cat-less downpipes, everything else is U-bolt styled clamps - one big clamp (per side) where the glasspacks meet the H-pipe, two smaller clamps (per side) for the connetion between the H-pipe and the tailpipes. I'm gonna weld the glasspacks to the H-pipe eventually, but I'll definitely leave the other joint clamp-on - taking off an all-welded dual exhaust last Monday proved to be a bitch and a half.

In your case, Nick, the stang H-pipe bolts to the downpipes, the rear U-bends will slip onto the H-pipe, the straight intermediate pipes will slip onto those rear U-bends, and the sidepipes kits will slip onto the straight pipes - if all diameters are correct you can use clamps to hold everything (I'd run double ones per junction), and no welding will be really necessary. Won't take too long to put together either, and the only difficulty I expect you to encounter is hanging the back of the system to the car - I'd suggest hanging those rear U-bends on one of the 10mm bolts that hold the inboard rear of the front seat's rails (hope that wasn't too confusing).

ok for the h-pipe i found this:

these will definitely work with mustang headers? can anyone point me in the direction of the mustang headers that will work with this h-pipe? or do any of you have a set you wanna sell??

        i also found these:

        the sidepipes:

        the install kit:

will the 2 top items i posted work on my merc? if so then i'll definitely have a non catted h-pipe setup, hehe, when it comes inspection time i'll have to find someone who will pass it......

thanks ivan for the description, i understood what you were saying, it does seem pretty easy! With the items i found on ebay it looks like everything will most likely bolt up so that won't be a problem... It will be a while till i can get all the stuff together cuz i gotta make some payments on the credit cards before i fall behind! This will get done with my origional plan to run sidepipes. In the meantime with some extra $$ i'll be getting some dressup parts and i wanna clean the engine and wiring up a bit so when i get the chrome headers everything will look good!

Don't get those headers. I didn't see a name anywhere on them at all. What will happen when you get them and they don't seal well?
...or they crack a few months down the road?
...or the chrome flakes off because it's not a true triple-chrome?
              ...do you get my point?

Who's going to take responsibility? The seller is going to say, "Oh, well- I'm not the manufacturer, so I'm not liable for that. Take it up with the manufacturer. The problem is, there's no fucking manufacturer listed. You have a set of bogus headers and no one to blame.

Try some FRPP, Mac, Borla, BBK, or any of the quality, trusted names for headers. You pay twice the price, but for the assurance of knowing you have a quality, tested part that will last for YEARS to come, it's worth it in my opinion. Headers are one of those parts that you don't want just anything available in my opinion.

i sent the seller a few questions on manufacture's warranty and who the manufacturer is. also i found out that its a legitimate performance site outside of ebay

seems to be some good priced stuff on the site and he has a damn good feedback rating of 99.2 with 13,xxx sales

once he gets back to me i'll let you guys know the info!

It's your move to make, but I am extremely anal retentive about my cars and don't put anything that I don't KNOW is going to be good. If you're willing to take the chance, do it. I just know I wouldn't want to risk my $120.

...but if you do get them, you'd better let us know how they turn out or :banned: !!

haha yea i won't buy them till i find out the necessities first, if they have a decent warranty then i'll try them out, its only 120..... if they last 2-3 years than its good enough for me for that price, the problem is i don't have a lot of money so i gotta take what i can get for now, if the seller comes back with the run-a-round for the questions i asked then i'll skip it!

I hear you on that. I put out the information so you can know what you're getting into. I hope it works out for you, really... and I agree- 2-3 years would be worth the cost for chrome headers.
Again, hope it works out. Let us know.
