    Air-Flo insert

    Airflo Air Cleaner Insert
The air coming into the air cleaner is pulled from each direction and tends to crash into itself when it meets above the carb, which causes turbulence. This insert slides over the air cleaner stud and directs the air down into the carb, eliminating that turbulence. For Holly and Demon 4 bbl carbs only. A dyno shows 7-10 horsepower gain.

I got one of these yesterday and installed it. Just drove the car and it deffinatly feels stronger. Turned a corner and gave it some gas and snapped the 325s loose. Picked up more in the low and mid-range. Not sure about high RPMS since i just went around the neighborhood.

Id recommend it to anyone with a somewhat modified carb motor.

The machinist next to us, races a small british car in road races. he built somethign similar for his side draft carbs and picked up 2 seconds at Daytona.

It works very well for a stock 302.

Besides, I ain't bitching, I traded 8 sparkplugs for the carb!

It would work for mine, but the car is being very very gay and the motor needs a top end rebuild

I'd rather use an Edelbrock than a lot of others, simply for the fact that quite frankly most people do not know how to tune a carb. Anyone can make an Edelbrock/Carter/Webber run good.

I wonder if it would work in conjunction with a x-treme k&n lid

is the xtreme the one with the cloth top? if so then it might work. my Moroso 14" air cleaner with a 1/2" spacer was too short. i had to modify the top with a hammer and a block of wood.
