    Steering.

Disconnecting the brake booster makes the brakes harder to press.

Can I do something like that to the power steering, still having good steering, but stiffer?

    in a word.... NO

the only alternative is upgrading to a late model PI steering gear box, which requires swapping steering shafts or modifying the stock one and having some PS hoses/lines
