    Axle Width

Anyone know where I can find the exact length of my axles? I have a random idea and want to try it out. I need individual axle length, both driver and passenger side.
2011 Mustang GT Premium, MT82, Kona/Saddle, HIDs, 3.73s, 19s, hood/side stripes, UPR 1.5" springs with adjustable panhard bar, and UMI solid LCAs and relocation brackets.
1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...
1979 Bronco Custom, 351M/C6/NP205, 4" lift, 35s, lots of fender trimming.

Easy enough to find, but factory 31 spline axles that would be the proper length for your axle would not work in your housing because of the wheel bearing size.

You can order custom axels from Moser or Strange for around $300 a pair in 31 spline

Don't forget that factory rear disc axles may be a different length than factory drum axles.

I hadn't thought about the bearing size for THIS idea, but the side gear thing is going to be an attempted go, still. Won't hurt to try.
I'm gonna go rummage the archives to see if I can find what axles had 31-splines and traction lock that would swap without throwing off an alignment.

I'm using factory rear drum axles with 93-97 rear disc hardware.

That is cool if they are exactly the same length. 8.8 axles such as T-Birds use longer axles with disc brakes.
