You're looking for a small brass fitting on the driver's side of the block toward the front, almost on your timing cover. It'll have a wire leading down to it with a black elbow that snaps onto the oil pressure sending unit sensor.
    Unplug the wire
Remove the oil pressure sending unit (pretty small)
Install adapter for oil pressure gauge (should be in the kit) BE SURE TO USE TEFLON TAPE
Install oil pressure fitting from kit- BE SURE TO USE TEFLON TAPE
Hook up the lines for the gauge on both ends- BE SURE TO USE TEFLON TAPE
Crank her up, but first- BE SURE TO USE TEFLON TAPE

Look slightly forward of the oil filter, thats where the sensor is. Below is my oil pressure plumbing to give you an idea where exactly on the engine you're looking.

        Yo Steve (2kool) whats up?

Sorry to hear the Crown Marquis is giving you fits. My brother-in-law is a mechanic over off Berry Blvd., and I may be able to talk him into taking a look at it for you if your oil pressure guage doesn't turn up any answers. Just give me a call. Sounds like the money is thin these days? Target is hiring over by me, you may want to check it out. Well anyways, get in touch if I can be of service.

hey wes, check your private messages.

freshmeat, thanks for the instructions and gadget for the picture... but it seems like i forgot something hmm... for some reason ive got oil all over the inside of my car...it seems to be leaking from somewhere, OH i must have forgot the teflon tape!!! just kidding

but anyway i got it hooked up and the results arent too good. when i first start her up she goes straight up to about 30 psi for maybe 7 or 8 seconds... then it starts falling right down to 0. it stays right around 0-5 at idle. as i drove it around it would stay pretty low in the 0-10 area... when im going about 30 MPH it kind of hovers around 25 psi but thats as high as it ever goes, and it doesnt stay there for long. it kind of seems like it would get higher pressure when i let off the gas but i dunno.
"what if somthing is clogged could he drain all the oil into a container, dump in a bottle or two of trans fluid to ungunk the engine, then drain that oil and fill up with the other old oil? although it may cause a leak that is stopped with gunk to show its head..."
yeah what about that? it could just be something clogged. maybe i should change the oil, and actully drain it ALL and change the filter? i dont know what to do, it could be a number of things. could low coolant, or really old and dirty coolant affect the oil pressure? because i REALLY need to flush my coolant and its always pretty low too. i just hope this isnt a dead bottom end or something

Sounds like a dead bottom end. Get the level correct and make sure the cooling system is up to par. If it doesn't fix the oil pressure issue, my best advice is to ignore the problem. Its a 302, and they don't really need oil pressure. As long as its moving some oil, you can run it for quite a while if you don't rev the piss out of the engine. Just normal driving will be fine till you have time and money to fix it.
