Hey guys what do you think of a "junkyard turbo kit" on my HO converted towncar at 5psi with maybe a T60 size turbo. Could my engine handle it? I mean 5psi is really pretty low for a V8 right? I know my pistons and bottom end are not forged, what I'm looking for is a safe turbo kit setup for my stock internals. Any suggestions/ideas?

The '86-'92 HO shortblocks had forged pistons. The non-HO cars had cast pistons.

93 up HOs have hyper pistons, which are good for about 5-6psi they say....but I personaly wouldn't do boost without forged internals.

He doesn't have an HO, just an HO convert so its cast pistons on his engine.
