    (5.0 sensor electrical)EECV sensors?

    can i wire a 5.0 tps sensor plug to a explorer 5.0 tps? same question with using the explorer iac and wiring the proper plug to the harness?
    see i am installing a new explorer crate engine......trying to save the customer some money as these sensors are brand new.........the injectors will work,mrltd is using his set he got with his 96 explorer crate motor mine the part number of the injector is F4SE-A1B

    1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

    If you do, you might have to adjust the tps to get the correct initial values.

      One way to test it. We'll stick a multimeter on it and measure the resistance. If its the same value variable I see no reason not to use it. I've been told its not the same but who knows. Probably would be better to change the plug on the TPS vs the plug on the wiring harness just for ease of replacement in the future.

          From what I've seen of it, the connector is the only difference. Swap the connector housing and it should work. I'd check the resistance first though...If i get a chance I could check the one I have. I used my stock one and still have the explorer one sitting around somewhere.
