Are the town car balancer and the mustang balancer the same? (If not then wouldn't the timing markings on the towncar one with a mustang cam be off?)

assuming it is the proper imbalance it should be the same. However if you got a 50 oz. imbalenve and you motor is a 28oz. then your motor will self destruct in a short while.http://secondhandracing.com/Home.aspx

To my knowledge.... ALL 302 harmonic balancers since 1981 are the same, 50oz imbalace.
