How do you make them run quiet?

Put them in a box lined with dynamat, or just turn the radio up

there realy is no way to quiet them down. They are what they are.

Where and how you mount them makes a big difference in the amount of noise they produce. Dynamat or some other sound deadener around the mounting area would make it alot quieter. Or even rubber washers on the bolts.

If you are mounting a non-stock frame mount pump, though you can dynama the gas tank, that might do something for a stock in-tank pump. But there isn't much else for our stock fuel pumps. Which if it is stock should not be solidly mounted at all. it's in a rubber cup and the only thing holding it up is the hose and the rubber cup.
