I have a 98 (or so) Vic e-fan that will eventually be installed. I just have to make some time and work out the installation details. Mine is the type that is the full fan shroud. Pulls a very large amount of power, like 20 amps low and more than 30 on high. Moves tons of air tho even on low.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Some of the local guys are using the 3.8 taurus/continental fans. Used on a low setting, they have no problems at all with cooling. They should pull less than 40, so it will work with a stock charging system.

I doubt they still make Mark VIII fans brand new- the Mark VIII was discontinued in 1998. I'd go for a Mark VIII fan from a 97-98; those years were the most reliable and highest-flowing CFM fans of all the years. They were manufactured for Ford by Siemens, by the way...

My worst enemies are those who presume me to be harmless. They cannot imagine how much I resent and disdain them, or just how great a threat they would face if I could get at them. Everything in their behavior speaks of insult and presumptuousness, and for now it is all I can do to make constructive use of my anger toward them. At this time, I just make a list of them and keep a watch on. Some day, with the help of time, space, and circumstance, I will be able to humiliate them properly - not in a manner they would enjoy, but in a style calculated to make them wish that they had never been born.

We've used the Flex-a-lite products for a number of applications.
One of the favorites around here for high performance street vehicles is the heavy duty 180. We have pretty extreme temperatures, and in the summer 100 degrees plus is common.
The 180 Magic X-Treme only pulls 18 amps, can be adjusted from 160 to 240 degrees, has a AC relay, and pulls 3,300 Cu. FT/Min.
They also have many stand alone controllers, and many single and double fan application specific options.
