my 1988 crown vic is squeallin took it to the mech, and he found that the pulley on the alternator is able to spin (the fan lookin pulley). he said it shouldnt move that easy or at all. if i loosen the bolts and try to tighten it am i going to just have to replace a tensioner pulley?or will wrenching the alternator over and re tightening it do the trick? im lookin for the most easy way to do this. help me out please.
