    Ptiman arm removal

Hail from the central Europe! I need to remove pitman arm on my ´87 Grand Marquis, the size of the screw (pitman to steering gear) is 32,5 mm, so obviously its not a metric wrench What is the size in inches? I will order the right wrench, but im not getting the marking I excpect it will be something 1-X/X

I believe it is actually 33mm (1.299") You can use a 1-5/16 without much slop. I used a pipe wrench once. The biggest mother is getting off the splines, you will need to use a pitman arm puller, there is really no other way.

I just measured mine at 1.300, so 33mm is probably it. 1 5/16" would be 1.3125, which is close enough.
