The setup I had in my 87. I'm planning on making a little console with the oil pressure and water temp and cup holders for the wagon.

My car is not for idiots LOL, no idiot lights at all. They are directly where they used to be. Not a big deal, because the gauges replace the idiot lights, the only one that isn't made up for in a gauge is the "check engine" light. But I don't care about that. Because it would always be on anyways, as I put out some codes all the time because I don't have one or two of the sensors that this ECU normaly has. It does not effect the running, but it always has those codes.

            Dear Gurus,
I've got stereo gear where the ashtray used to be and a contractor's console/fat armrest between the seats for my notebook/mp3 player and lunch. I didn't want anything blocking the windshield so I hung my autometer (electrical) temp and oil, guages on the A pillar.

The autometer Thunderbird A pillar mounting will accept two guages. The T-bird mounting is round (vs the GM's hex A pillar).Cautious heat will make it fit. It's a black mounting and I've always planned to paint it but haven't. Sorry - no pics. I don't own a digital camera.
