    Flywheel replacement?

Hello everyone. I am having starter issues, particularly the flywheel is making a grinding noise on startup. I had the starter replaced and the noise has ceased. While down there, we took a look at that the flywheel and the gears are starting to grind down a bit. Does anyone have an idea how long they typically last? I'll try and post a picture of the wear. Thanks in advance

If the new starter doesn't grind. No worries then. Unless the teeth are well over 50% ground away, you'll have no issues until the new starter stops throwing out all the way and starts grinding itself.

flexplates last basically forever, or until you have a shitty starter eat the teeth off. The ones on all of mine are original and are in good condition last I had an eyeball on them.
