My 81 MkVI has rod knock, sadly, so I've been thinking about swapping the 302 I rebuilt from my 79 Thunderbird into it.
But I have a 4 barrel Holley 4160 on my rebuilt engine and I've been wondering what exactly I need to do with the TV cable.
To my knowledge it seems I can't just hook up the TV cable setup to the Holley?
Do I absolutely have to get a Lokar cable or can I still use my original one?
I've read that Holleys and Edelbrocks need new hardware to fit a Lokar cable on but no parts store guys in my town know anything and aren't much help, don't know if I have found the right part on Summit racing either.
So basically, Do I have to buy a Lokar cable when I do the engine swap? What Kit would I need to buy to fit the TV cable to a holley?
I'd prefer not have to buy a Lokar cable if I don't have too
