A tiny bit? My '90 Grand Marquis has a smoother nose than my old '89 Town Car. The rear window section "looks" smoother too. The box Town Car is a brick. (I guess I'm starting the arguement, I didn't want to start).

I have a cheaper idea. Does anyone have an original sales brochure or magazine article for each panther? Didn't they post drag coefficient numbers in there somewhere?

I think they did put the drag coefficent on the specs back in the 80's. My old 1988 acura integra had a coefficient of 0.34, supposed to be really good back then.1989 Lincoln Town Car - "Anabelle" - Original block, .030 over with SpeedPro pistons, rods fitted with ARP hardware, FRPP +volume oil pump, GT-40 3bar heads, Crane 1.72 rockers, 89' Fox cam, 93' Cobra lower intake, Explorer upper and 65mm TB, 93' Lightning EGR spacer, K&N intake kit from a 4.0L Ranger, 19lb/hr injectors w/ 87 Mark VII ECM, cat/smog deletes, Big Brake conversion, 3.55 K-Code Trac-Lok/Disc brake rear axle, CVPI LCA's w/1" sway bar in rear, wagon front sway bar, BBK 2.5" off-road H-Pipe, Flowmaster super 40s, HPP wheels, 3G alternator w/LMR.com wiring kit, gear reduction starter conversion, Best 1/4 time: 16.0 @ 85mph.

My 87 had a seriously f'd frame. It still wasn't too terrible. I took the 495 to 95N ramp/merge at 110mph... The 91 and my 89 both could cruise at 90+ pretty well. Not anything like my turbo mustang at 140mph though. That thing was incredible. A complete POS, but incredible.Builder/Owner of Badass Panther Wagons

I doubt my wagon could get above 70 with the screwed up transmission now, but stock engines will go far, it will take a while, but it will go far, my dads dodge ram has done over 120 stock, and the ford would have gone far if it wasn't governed at 100 mph. I also think my grandmothers 2001 Lincoln Continental would haul some assI have a big WOODY
