meh, easy enough to convert to the internal and get better performance out of it. That 100 amp alternator is expensive too, last I priced one it was like $180. I was able to fix it, but the eventual ultimate fix will be a Mustang upper bracket and a small frame 3G on the Mark VII. It uses the 100 amp currently.
$95 and some change all day long at oreilly......
I'm not completely oblivious to reality, I just choose to reject it when it doesn't line up with my opinions. (thanx Thain!)
The alternator bracket will be good if you want the big mount spacing 3G down the road. (1993 Taurus 3.8L, 8" mount hole to mount hole, like the 1G externally regulated alternator on that car). The small mount spacing is the standard 7" hole to hole as on the stock 2G alternator. (1995 Mustang 5.0L 3G, or 1993/4 or so Taurus with a 3.0L)
Well I got the rear and front bar (read with control arms).
Got the cluster.
If you guys want upper a arms ($50 each) or brackets (like $20-30) or a fan shroud tell me
And I'll call the yard. It's a full service yard but they let me and some folks walk around and get what you want.
