Hi. I was at a red light and the engine died. It refused to start until after I let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and then died about 2 minutes later going 50KPH.
It restarted after a few minutes, and I pulled over to let it idle as I had drained the battery while screaming at the top of my head. I opened the door and the engine died again. After a few minutes, it started, and idled for 15 minutes with no issue, then I put it in drive and it died after moving 50 feet.
After a minute of letting it sit it started and this time it drove the rest of the way home (aborting my attempt to go downtown to get pizza), and I let it idle for 10 minutes after parking the stupid thing. With much fear and loathing I turned the car off and plugged it in, doubtful if it will ever run again.
So do I have a bad fuel pump, or a bad carbeurator? Perhaps my engine is ruined.
I plan to take it in for a winterization Monday anyways, so maybe I can get this silly issue resolved too.
Thanks.
