Cripple doin' plugs and fuel filter

Given the cost of having the shop do spark plugs on my 91 Colony Park I am thinking of doing it myself. 15 years ago I would just jump in but my back and knee problems make me a little more cautious. So a few questions.

    1. Can all of the plugs be gotten from the top?
    2. Which is the hardest to do? I want to start there so I know right away if I am going to get in trouble.

The cost on replacing the fuel filter also seemed a bit high. How hard is that to do and where is it located?

The fuel Filter is easier than the plugs, What year and make do you have?

On my 88 and 90, the filter is on the passenger side, right behind the rear door. Two plastic clips need to be pulled out and then you just disconnect the rubber tubing and loosen the clamp and pull the filter out.

As far as the plugs go; the passenger side is the hardest. I did the driver side on mine in about 20 minutes. The passenger side is the bitch, and I have yet to do it on mine.

All the plugs can be reached from the top.
The hardest ones are on the pass side if the air pump crap is still there.
If not, all the plugs are easy to get to, with the exception of the first one on the drivers side if you still have the stock air box.
If you've switched to a later model CV, GM or a 90 TC air box then ALL the plugs are easy.

The fuel filter is VERY easy in it's stock location. which is on the drivers side, bolted to the inner side of the frame.
Just about where the rear door meets the Q.panel. Unless Ford put wagon fuel filters in a different location, but I doubt they did.

All of the sparkplugs can be changed from the top of the car but you might need a stool to get to #8 plug.
