    Pronto Oil Filter

    I know the topic of oil filters has been discussed a lot over the years but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Pronto brand filters they sell on RockAuto. I bought one a while ago for about a $1.50 but haven't put used it yet. Does anyone know if they're any good?

    These have been mentioned before in a few other posts and most seemed concerned that they are apparently no longer being made in USA. I took the plunge and got some from Rock Auto for two different applications. They were both about $1.75 each not including shipping. One of the applications...


    doesn't look like a total piece of crap. Looks lot like a Purolator, which is who makes the Motorcraft filters.

    I've bought odd brand filters for things before. I actually picked up Motorcraft air and oil filters for my Chevy for stupid cheap at Rockauto. I'm not proud, I'll put Ford filters on a GM.
