They are all aluminum??? I didnt know - I never held on in my hand. I guess thats why they bust into piece so easy with valve interference, and why they will melt if you run a lean fuel mix!
And I thought Lunati was super hi-po shit.
Ive never built an engine - can you tell?

I don't know, guys. I was drunk when I typed that last night and hung over when I provided the above response.

The air ride suspension I'm going to run will be custom-tuned for my wagon. The guy is a high school buddy of mine and he's giving me the best shit available at his cost. Let's just say that I won't be disappointed.

You're right, though- there are better systems out there. But the air ride will dramatically improve my handling over my WORN stock equipment.

No. Air ride provides better cornering than any suspension system out there. Hot Rod actually did an article on it a while back- Air Ride Technologies had a bunch of people out at a road course and let 'em rip. Everyone agreed that they never drove anything with such a quality suspension.

LOL, if that was true F1 cars woud be running air suspension. Which they do not. ART has a nice system with pretty high air bag rates and adjustable shocks/struts that work extremely well. I would like to have them on my car, but they are too pricey.

That article IIRC compared the ART cars to STOCK vehicles. There was also a segment on a TV show that covered the same article.

You will have to buy the most expensive shit out there and have custom made big ass sway barsm because air springs have much lower spring rates. If you spend a ton of money you can get performance out of air ride, but spend the same money and you will get more out of a conventional spring system.

You HAVE hydraulics or you're planning on them?
I'm bagging my junk. I'm not worried about dancing it, just want the air ride for cornering... and to be able to lay that bish on the ground when I park it.
i have hydraulics. but no good pics yet

All pistons are aluminum. they are either cast, hypercraptastic, or forged
it a stock lift lunati cam from advance auto it was like 25 bucks more then the cheapist one. the pistons are Hypereutectic pistons and they were on sale at summit. this build wuold not be finacialy possible without the help from master card. having good credit is good
