converting from CFI to later fuel injection what is needed???

I am possibly looking to convert my 84 Town car CFI over to the later fuel injection system. Other than the manifold (upper and lower) injectors, Throttle body and fuel rails. What else would I need??? Computer out of ??? Would my current fuel pump handle the later FI? Do I need a EGR spacer?

Thanks to all who helped get my TC on the road again. I know I still need to post up pictures.

There's three sticky'd threads on this already....

Everything to do with interior and body electrical including headlights and tail lights. CFI specific discussions and AC/heating systems.

Stock CFI fuel pump will be fine, you'll need some custom doing on mating the stock CFI fuel lines to the SEFI lines
Find a 86-89 SEFI harness, it will make it easier, though the 90/91 harness is cleaner + the trans and 02 harness
Make sure you have a wiring diagram for both your car, and what ever year donor harness your using.
Yes, you need an EGR spacer, along with the TV cable and lever out of a 87-89 and a SEFI throttle cable and also the bracket that bolts on the trans.
Any 86+ lopo ECU should work
    Lot's of solder and heatshrink
    SEFI cruse servo cable.
At least the drivers side SEFI exhaust manifold, though I'd grab the downpipes as well.

And a bunch more stuff I'm forgetting.

Almost seems like it would be easier to just drop on a 4 bbl and an intake.

Its similar, but then you have to deal with a carb. Some of the butcher carb swap jobs I've seen had to have been more difficult than just wiring this up correctly. Also considering half the people I know who have stuck carbs on things have absolutely no idea how to make one run right, the results tend to be less than stellar. Done correctly, the fuel injection runs absolutely correctly every time, no matter what the weather is. Its not that bad. Most of the trick is having the proper wiring manuals for the donor and victim cars handy. Without knowing what goes where, you're pretty much screwed on this.
