im pretty sure you can get adapters to run a 2bbl carb on a 4-bbl intake.

with my 351, Performer RPM Air-Gap intake double pumper carb, a1/2" air cleaner spacer and a 3" thick Moroso air cleaner the hood closes. anything taller will not fit. most anything shorter should fit

a Torker II intake is a hair less of an intake than a Vic Jr.

Refresh my memory Scott-where can I find one of those???

I looked at the summit catalog and website, they have the 2bbl adapter kit, but apparently it's only available for Quadrajet and Holley intakes. And the kits designed for a Holley 2300 2bbl. I don't think it would work, but maybe I'm wrong???

I would have to look at the 85......I will try and remember to later. I know that T-Bird and Cougar TBI intakes are all aluminum. CV VV carb intakes are aluminum.

Thats cool that some of them are alum tho. If nothing else it would be cheap weight reduction. Iron intakes weigh a lot.
