...but it really, really wants to! I just bought a 1985 GM from my co-worker. It has 36,600 original miles and has been in his family since 1987, so I know the miles are right. His mother-in-law owned it, and drove the car very seldom - maybe five miles a week! She passed away and left the Merc to him. He drove the car from where his m-i-l lived to his home. It started right up and drove fine. After sitting for nearly four months, though, it refuses to start, even with a jumper battery hooked up. It acts like it wants to start but will not. I've checked the fuses, and hit the fuel reset button next to the trunk hinge, and can't see anything amiss. Yes, it has fuel in the tank. Everything else electrical appears to be working. I've heard the car run before and it sounded great. It needed a jump then, but it ran just fine. It did not exhibit these signs before.
Any ideas???
