351W Intake Dilemma

So I was told that I should consider getting a more better intake manifold for my car.

I have a 351 Windsor with a 2 barrel carbeurator on it. The factory intake is a piece of junk apparently.

Should I upgrade it and if so, which style should I get? Should I upgrade to a 4 barrel carbeurator while I'm at it?

With stock E7 heads would just go with a Performer intake (not a RPM) and a 600 vacuum secondary carb.
Wold also work well with a HO cam.
